Hello backers!

A quick update to brighten your holidays:

We have been listening to your feedback and we are happy to announce that the rewards with grey, beige, and black Snapbags will ship sooner!

Never forgetting our commitment to environmentally friendly practices that is communicated in our mission and vision statements, we have been working on readjusting our logistics plan to cut your wait duration, resulted by the delay of the material quality testing for the limited edition and the dark grey Snapbags. All the while staying mindful of not wasting resources on unnecessary logistics costs nor sacrificing Snapbag’s quality nor its distribution quality.

All the perks with the beige, black, and grey Snapbags are now leaving our manufacturing plant to the port, heading to the point from which they will be distributed to every backer individually (the shipping and fulfillment center). The rewards are expected to reach the center in January.

Happy to announce that the limited edition and the dark grey Snapbags’ final raw materials are exiting their port of destination as well and heading towards our manufacturing plant. This allows us to begin the production of the limited edition and the dark grey Snapbags in the upcoming week in parallel to shipping the already produced rewards.

Production & shipping update 📋

Snapbag supporters! ❤️

We have spent the last period doing everything in our power to begin shipping in November. As it is for most endeavors, some aspects went smoothly and others were extremely challenging. It has been and continues to be an exciting learning adventure for us as first-time project creators.

With our clocks ticking, we have been on marathon mode all throughout Oct-Nov. We kept quality, innovation, efficiency, speed, problem-solving, and design thinking as our guiding lights to meet all new responsibilities that accompany a successful Kickstarter project. With November coming to an end, the following questions arise: where are we now? and when will you receive your Snapbag?

We have successfully finished production for all rewards including the first 3 colors of Snapbag, which make a big part of our project’s rewards.

 Packaging is now done and a big portion of the orders have been packed and are now sitting in our facilities waiting to be shipped to the fulfillment center.

 Stretch goal #1 is done! Check out the collection of stickers to be included in your reward's package:

 The badges you unlocked at stretch goal #3 have been produced!

The badges are easily hooked on Snapbag's strap. You can attach your badge and detach it whenever you want. Check out how below!

Moving on to the dark grey and the limited edition Snapbags: their materials have passed our quality tests successfully. This allowed us to order all raw materials needed for their production. Now we are waiting for the materials’ shipment arrival. 

We estimate the shipment to arrive in a month from now.

Some of you reached out to us asking about shipping dates. We were figuring things out as we go and we decided to update you definitively when we have the needed information instead of giving out Random dates based on guesswork.

To reduce carbon footprint and for logistics efficiency, all Kickstarter orders will be shipped at once to the fulfillment center when they finish the production.

From that point, individual shipments will begin delivering to you and all other backers.

Now that we have everything figured out, please check our revised timeline:

You can hardly wait to receive your Snapbag, we are aware of that. We had to choose a minor delay in our timeline over sacrificing the quality of our last two variants, the dark grey and the limited edition, and rushing in producing and sending you your rewards.

Providing you with a high-quality innovative solution that guarantees your satisfaction is our utmost priority. We hope you understand the small delay. We are certain that being the first to unbox your Snapbag will be worth your wait!

This crowdfunding project is coming to life day after day thanks to your support. As our first Kickstarter project, it is a very exciting and challenging learning experience for us. We hope to make your experience as smooth and exciting as possible while you accompany us on this journey.

Hello backers!

Please excuse us for the lack of updates during the last period. As you can imagine, we are juggling many variables and processes at this point with production, logistics, and operations. 

Production is now moving fast with the black, grey, and beige Snapbags!

Prior to the Kickstarter phase, only a few Snapbag samples were produced. Now, our ability to order in bulk and to be present on the production site has allowed for many enhancements to the material.

Since the start of production in October, we performed plenty of tests and explored improvements of Snapbag’s material resulting in various enhancements of your Snapbag!

Your Snapbag will now include laces that match your selected color:

 Thanks to a new manufacturing technology we are using to attach the laces to Snapbag’s body, the laces are now more durable than ever.

We have upgraded the straps as well to match your Snapbag’s color!

Your Snapbag will be your car’s undercover hero that it is designed to be 🙌

Progress on the dark grey and the limited edition:

While the groundwork is perfectly laid for production, the dark grey and the limited edition Snapbags’ production did not begin yet because some of their materials still haven’t passed our quality tests. 

The first 3 colors of Snapbag were subjects to material research, back and forth communication with our raw material suppliers, adjustments, and numerous quality tests under different environments before the material and colors were approved. Since the campaign started with the first 3 colors, all their tests were done prior to the campaign’s start, eliminating a big part of the production process from the project’s timeline.

However, the dark grey color was chosen in a survey while the campaign was live, in addition to the limited edition that was unlocked in the latest stretch goal, so we are still in the process of receiving, testing, and approving their final materials before we can begin their production.

As we are now mid-way in our timeline for beginning shipping, please rest assured that if any changes to the timeline are to take place, we will notify you directly. We are optimistic about starting shipping on schedule in Nov as per our campaign’s timeline (Oct-Nov).

Meanwhile, please make sure to complete the surveys if you haven’t yet to avoid delays in your reward’s fulfillment.

Since our last update, we:

Snapbag supporters!!

We know you are so excited to lock in your orders, and so are we. We promised to send you the survey by the 3rd of September. However, it took a little longer than expected to tweak the survey to apply the correct scenarios which guarantee that everyone get what they want on all pledge levels + to get to choose the desired add-ons without paying additional shipping as we promised you earlier!

Due to the large number of messages we received in the last 2 days, some of you did not receive a reply from us. Excuse us if you did not hear back, and please read below to know what's next!

The surveys will now be sent to 5% of our backers, so you might be one to receive yours anytime within 3 business days. This is a smoke test to catch glitches in the surveys if we missed any. If everything is running smoothly, we will hit send directly, and you will receive your survey in approximately 3 business days. If, however, we find any issue with the survey, we will make the necessary adjustments quickly and we will update you so that you know what's going on, then we will roll out the surveys as soon as possible. Everyone should have access to their surveys by next week. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We chose a few days of delay in sending the survey instead of rushing, all to make sure your journey is as smooth as possible, because your rewards are so delicate to us.
